Located in the foothills of the Himalayas in the state of Uttaranchal is the audacious Corbett National Park. With the coverage area of about 1,200 sq kms, Corbett National Park is home to a diverse assortment of flora and fauna. It is primarily famous for its tempestuous population of Leopards, Tigers and Elephants. Corbett national Park is named after in the honor of the late Jim Corbett, a British hunter, naturalist, author and photographer.
